With the current outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) at the forefront of people’s thoughts recently and this risk it presents we have conducted extensive research, investigations, risk assessments etc to make the impact of COVID-19 as minimal as possible, to the extent of our organisations influence. We, as all of us in the community should, have a duty of care to do all in our power to minimise the effects of this virus for the entire population.

We ask that you contact us immediately on 1300 554 983

We can assist in providing you with information on where to receive assessments, treatment and how to minimise the spread of any possible infection.

It is unfortunate but for the greater good of the community as a whole, some services and supports may have to be suspended to prevent the spread.

We are also ensuring that our community-based employees that may be at risk of infection and infecting others are not attending to vulnerable people, especially the elderly and those with pre-existing illnesses as those people are most at risk of developing complications. We have procedures and risk assessment processes, based on our research and advice from health organisations such as NSW Health, to mitigate the spread of this virus as much as humanly possible.

We will be monitoring the situation closely and regularly and provide updates where necessary.

Here are some things that you can do to help fight the spread of coronavirus:

  • Clean your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based hand rub
  • Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with a tissue or a flexed elbow
  • Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
  • Practice cough etiquette (keep away from other people, cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or clothing, and clean your hands.
  • Clean all surfaces (use antibacterial products if available) regularly.
